Changes at Steve’s Thinking Space

Hello everyone.  I hope you are all doing well.  It has been a while since I posted and  so I wanted to let you know I am still here :).  I am working on some new projects that are consuming quite a bit of my time, however I do plan to continue my writing here at Steve’s Thinking Space.  I wanted to take this opportunity to update everyone on a few minor changes that I have planned.

About Page:  I started Steve’s Thinking Space more than two years ago but never constructed a true About Page for the blog.  Well, that is, until last week!!  Last week I put together the About Page for this blog and published it.  Some of you have been asking for this for some time.  To take a look you can click here or you can simply click the “About” tab at the top of this page.  Some of my objectives for this blog have changed slightly over the past year so even those of you who feel like you have a good handle on my focus here might want to glance over it.  Please let me know what you think.

Inspiring Business Series:  Some of you will remember this series of blog posts I started about 1 1/2 years ago.   Well in early 2013 I unofficially discontinued the series because I was having a hard time devoting enough time to it.  In February of 2014 I plan to bring the series back but will do so in a way that will be more sustainable.  Stay tuned to learn more about my plans for this series.  I will post a more detailed description of what I want to do with this series in December.

Nature Photography:  You may have noticed that I like taking nature photos.  I have often incorporated some of these photos into my blog posts.  The sunrise photo above is a case in point :).  I have decided to incorporate nature photography into my blog posts more regularly.  Even when the topic of the post has nothing to do with nature.  I find nature helps me relax and feel more peaceful.  Per my About Page, a main topic of this blog going forward is going to be Peace (especially personal peace, spiritual peace, peace within – however you want to describe it).  Because I have noticed a link between my own peacefulness and nature I plan to highlight nature photography on my blog more often.  A lot of this will be photos taken by me and my wife (Kylie took the photo in this post.  I rarely get up early enough to see a sunrise 🙂 ) but I welcome photos from guest photographers as well.

Blog cleanup:  Over the next few months I will be performing some minor housekeeping here at Steve’s Thinking Space.  I will re-examine the widget area on the right of the page with the intent of reorganizing the layout and possibly replacing some of the widgets.  I will also revamp the suggested site links.  The links that are there now have been there since day 1 of this blog and some of them are no longer relevant.  In fact some of them may no longer work.  So you can expect the appearance of Steve’s Thinking Space to change gradually over the next few months.

Please let me know what you think of the new About page by leaving a comment either here or on the About Page itself.  Please also feel free to provide feedback as I make the other changes.

Thank you for your readership!

With Peace and Gratitude,

Steve Strother

About Steve Strother

I am a student of life and therefore I am a lifelong learner. I believe we are all here to evolve spiritually and doing so, and helping others do so, is my ultimate quest. I currently write at The Road to Peace about people helping other people because I believe helping others is a path to peace and also spiritual growth. I am currently developing a coaching program to help men connect to joy in life - specifically through understanding the the characteristics they exhibit (and can access) through the four main masculine archetypes as well as through helping them connect more authentically to the feminine - both within themselves, in the world around them, and with women.
